Calbee, one of Japan’s leading snack makers, is expanding their healthy snack line, Harvest Snaps, into the kids’ market with a new range of sugar-free, freeze-dried treats.

They needed a brand that felt playful and fresh—without losing the fun of snacking.

I extended the Harvest Snaps logo to create a “Kids” sub-brand, using a hand-built treehouse sign to evoke a sense of childlike adventure. To build the world further, I illustrated a unique landscape for each flavor—featuring its tree or vine—and introduced a cute character for every snack, each one marked by their fruit-shaped headwear.

The result? A fun, tasty, kid-friendly snack line that’s both healthy and inviting.
